Reference Architecture

Mintwest is designing an AI factory with 1,152 NVIDIA B300 GPUs across 144 HGX B300 systems, drawing on the NVIDIA HGX AI Factory reference architecture. Each GPU connects to two independent network planes through a single NVIDIA ConnectX-8 SuperNIC. Its 800GbE port is split into two 400GbE links, one per plane, providing a total bandwidth of 2×400Gbps.

The design follows NVIDIA’s modular approach to compute, networking, and software, creating a scalable foundation for model training, fine-tuning, and inference as AI workloads grow.
